How to update automated unfulfillable settings?
Step 1
Go to Seller Central. Hover over Settings and click on Fulfillment By Amazon.
Step 2
Go to Automated Unfulfillable Settings and click on Edit.
Step 3
First, Enable this option if you want to make changes. There are a total of 3 options to select. Below are the details of all three options:
Refurbishment: Depending on the item, Fulfillment by Amazon can retape, reglue, and restaple boxes; remove excessive tape, non-product labels, and stickers; and rebox branded and unbranded corrugated boxes. For shoes and apparel, refurbishment can include steaming and removing stains and odors.
Liquidations: This option allows you to recover value on eligible inventory by liquidating it through a liquidator, who will purchase it for about 5% to 10% of its average selling price. In this case, you are selling your product at a reduced price to stock it off.
Return or dispose of: If you want unfulfillable inventory returned to you, select this option instead of disposing of it or refurbishing it. You will receive the units at your address.
Select the options you want to allow from these three, as shown in the screenshot, and proceed to the next step.
Step 4
Enter the address where you want to receive unfulfillable units. You can give these units as a gift to someone or donate them for use. Then click on Update.
