Amazon has shared its Holiday 2026 plan for US sellers, and the headline is simple: fees and eligibility stay the same as last year, but inventory deadlines move earlier. Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday all follow last year's timing, so Q4 planning needs to start well before September.
According to Amazon Seller Central news, holiday peak fulfillment fees will apply from October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027, averaging $0.32 per unit over non-peak rates, the same increase as last year.
What exactly is changing?
Deal submission windows: Prime Big Deal Days deals can be submitted from July 8 to September 8. Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals can be submitted from July 8 to October 20.
Early submission discount: $50 off the upfront promotion fee for Prime Big Deal Days deals submitted by August 5 and Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals submitted by September 5.
Deal fees: Best Deals, Lightning Deals and Prime Exclusive Price Discounts carry the same fees as Prime Day: $100 upfront per promotion plus 1.5% of promotional sales, capped at $5,000. Amazon says there are no new eligibility requirements.
Peak fulfillment fees: Apply to FBA, Remote Fulfillment with FBA, Multi-Channel Fulfillment and Buy with Prime. The 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge applies on top.
Lookback relief: Prime Big Deal Days prices are excluded from the 30-day and 60-day lookback, so they won't lower the maximum deal price for Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday.

Why does this matter for sellers?
Earlier deadlines shrink your planning window. Amazon says fulfillment centers will focus on receiving inventory in September and October, then switch to processing customer orders in November and December, so receiving capacity can tighten fast. Stock that lands after the cutoff may sell without the Prime badge right when traffic peaks.
Margins take a hit too. The peak fee plus the 3.5% surcharge stack on every eligible unit, so a deal price built on summer fee assumptions will look better on paper than it does in your settlement report.
What should sellers do now?
Submit deals early: Lock in the $50 early discount and secure your preferred deal slots before the windows fill up.
Reprice with peak fees included: Check peak rates in the Revenue Calculator, Profit Analytics dashboard or Fee and Economics Preview Report before setting deal prices.
Plan to arrival dates, not ship dates: Work backward from the deadlines above and leave buffer for carrier and receiving delays.
Use AWD for overflow: Sellers sending inventory through AWD with automatic replenishment keep the off-peak monthly storage rate through October 31, 2026. Capacity Manager lets you bid for extra fulfillment center space.
eStore Factory Tip: Build your Q4 calendar around the arrival deadlines first, then fit deals and ad budgets around inventory you know will be live with a Prime badge. If you want help planning Q4 deals, pricing and inventory, our Amazon account management experts can map it out with you.
