Listing the product without a UPC was a Big NO for Amazon sellers, and availing a GTIN Exemption process was a headache.

To improve your experience, Amazon made an easy to provide proof for availing the GTIN exemption.

Instead of any supporting letter from the Brand Owner, now the seller can be exempt from GTIN by simply providing the Product Name and images showing all sides (6 sides usually) of the product packaging.
