Amazon has extended the enrollment window for the FBA New Selection Program 2026 to March 31, 2027. The change was announced on October 28, 2026, and it gives US professional sellers launching new branded products in FBA more time to sign up and collect the program's fee credits.
According to the official Seller Central announcement, the benefits themselves have not changed. What has changed is how long you have to get in. Amazon also notes that New Selection Program 2026 benefits can't be combined with New Seller Incentives.
What exactly is changing?
Enrollment window: Extended to March 31, 2027, so eligible sellers can still enroll and claim benefits on new branded products.
Referral fee credits: Referral fees are capped at 10% on your first 100 units and 5% on the next 100 units of an eligible new-to-FBA product.
Storage and recovery: Free storage, free customer returns and free liquidations on your first 200 units for 120 days.
Fee waivers: No low-inventory-level fee or storage utilization surcharge on your first 200 units for 120 days.
Promotion credits: $50 in coupon variable fee credits and $75 in Vine enrollment fee credits, usable within the first 60 days of listing a buyable offer.
Who qualifies: Per the program help page, you need a Professional selling plan, a trailing 6-month IPI score of 300 or higher if you have an assigned score, and branded new-to-FBA parent ASINs with no FBA shipment in the past 12 months by any seller.
Why does this matter for sellers?
Launch costs are where most new products lose money. Referral fees, storage and the first round of Vine and coupon spend all hit before a listing has reviews or ranking. Capping referral fees and removing storage and low-inventory fees on the first 200 units takes real pressure off that early window, and the extension means Q1 2027 launches can still be planned around these credits.
There is a catch for sellers who were moved over from the previous program. The help page says they get New Selection Program 2026 benefits for an introductory period through March 31, 2027, and must accept the updated program terms to keep receiving them after that date. If nobody on your team confirms enrollment, the benefits on future launches can quietly stop.
What should sellers do now?
Check your enrollment status: Open the New Selection Program 2026 page in Seller Central and confirm whether you are enrolled, and whether you still need to accept the updated terms.
Map your launch calendar: List every new branded product you plan to send into FBA before the end of March 2027 and confirm each parent ASIN is new to FBA.
Watch your IPI score: A trailing 6-month IPI below 300 can block eligibility, so clean up excess and stranded inventory before you enroll.
Use the promotion credits early: The coupon and Vine credits only last 60 days after a buyable offer goes live, so have Vine units and a coupon ready on launch day.
Compare with New Seller Incentives: The two can't be combined, so newer accounts should check which package gives them more before enrolling.
eStore Factory Tip: Fee credits only pay off if the launch itself works. Line up your listing, Vine, coupon and PPC plan before the first unit lands so the 120-day window turns into sales history instead of free storage. Our Amazon seller account management team can plan and run new product launches around program deadlines like this one.
